Hi! long time no post- and tomorrow last day of spring break.
It's been tiring, fun, but no homeworks (Yeah!) playdates, trips to San Diego Sea World,
fundraisers for Japan, soccer, movies, beach, bubblefest mania, getting stuck in the bog.... you name it.
It's all MUCH too long to write about in length so as usual, here are pics. It's so much easier, sorry.
Viva Italia
Beach fun with Erik- the waves were so high that we were told to go after 4 hours- but that was about enough anyway
Sandy or....
I got a new rash guard today... I want to tell you all how cute I think I am
On the way to San Diego-
short break at Vista point
All the squirrels..... but beautiful scenery, if it wasn't for the
mass of garbage that unbelievable visitors seem to plop right down on the pavement
Leo's favourite show- the Blue big or something, but it was rather well executed I must say,
lots of acrobats and sea creatures, birds, you name it.
Hi tuwtle!
Our first 4D movie- it was really good actually, a Sesame Street one,
when someone sneezes or there is rain falling in the picture, not only does everything pop out at you, you are also squirted with water at appropriate timing, lighting flashes, chairs buzz.. the kids loved it, I must say I was suitably impressed
5000 activities later.... Belugas
Nea was as stubborn as an ingrown
toenail and wouldn't accept going out of this fantastic boing-boing
Nets to the heavens....
Hi there!
Already 7 pm and Nea is suitably munchkining, freezing by now

Discovery Science center- marvelous exhibits as usual, fun for hours
If one had been able to learn things in this way...
Elmo's world
The REAL diplodocus- that was what I was doing mummy! Inside the belly....
The theme was all bubbles this time, of course, all the bubble projects, making, science, water tension and so forth, so much fun!!!
WHOOOOOA!
NO Nea don't break it!
He could have gone on for ages
Well, I have to
Bubble wall
We weren't allowed to take pics for the show, this is just the ending. It was 45 minutes of EXTRA fun, big ones, small ones, coloured ones, bubbles with white smoke inside, bubbles EVERYWHERE! ( the laser lights were pretty impressive too!)
With the Majstor Bubbler Deni Yang
There's Auntie Ninja!
Self explanatory
You must be tired mummy, SURPRISE! We're making you a cake dinner instead! Read the letter!
Awwwww..... sob sob
With Robert Leo's friend making SUPER SNOW
NOW THIS IS BAKIKOMANYA
He's dead so I have to give him some medicine
(Nobody is sick in Nea's book, everyone dies first)
Oh and that's mummy's top I put on there
IN A BUBBLE!!
Oh this was the beginning of the terrrible SINK at the Ballona Wetlands just 10 minutes from our place, Leo wanted to have some fun after the rain with his boots....
Said he wanted to jump in the water a bit, I said fine as long as you test the ground first.... no sooner had I said the words he dived straight into the mud. After 5 minutes or so of me laughing and him struggling to emerge he started crying in wretches in fear for his life. THere are NO more pics after this scene, why?
After him sinking down to his midriff, snot and tears everywhere- mummy jumps in cursing the whole world ( I took off my boots first thank the lord) pulls him out on the the ground ( in the meantime Nea has fallen in too, although not as bad) tries to heave his boots out from the depth of stinky bird poo sludge and immersed, as you can imagine, as if it was s scene from the Witch in the Broom. I don't even know how we actually walked the trek to the car, or how one even drove home- it was quite satisfying how many amazed stares we received though, much more affective than buying a Louis Vuitton. By the end of hosing ourselves outside, washing everything and showering ( now this mud, it's the most stinky and stubborn stuff you've ever seen, it took real scrubbing to get it off , I think I still might midly pong) of course, one was quite amused enough to guffaw with laughter.
Leo added in the end, " Well, I guess I learned my lesson!"
